Well, spring has certainly sprung at South Cathedral Farm – the ornamental pears along the driveway have burst out in blossom finally, and the daffodils are all out in flower too!
Although the nights are still cool (some still in minus temperatures!) the days are getting longer and we are being treated with blue sky and sunshine more often.

Spring is a lovely time of year to come and visit our beautiful part of the world and there are some great regional events coming up for you to enjoy too.

The annual Marysville Jazz and Blues weekend is coming up on the weekend of 19 – 21 October, and with another fantastic line up of artists in 2018, including big names such as Renee Geyer as well as Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows, it promises to be an event not to be missed!

Then the weekend of 27 and 28 October is the Alexandra and District Open Gardens Weekend, with gardens in Buxton, Taggerty, Acheron and Alexandra open for you to visit and be inspired by.
And as usual the lovely little Marysville Market, where you can pick up all sorts of tasty local treats, is held on the second and the fourth Sunday morning of the month, on the lawns next to the supermarket in Marysville – a perfect opportunity for you to pick up some local produce and have a picnic down on the grass by the adjacent Steavenson River.

So book yourself in for a spring escape to South Cathedral Farm! We look forward to seeing you soon 🙂
