How do I get there?
From Melbourne, take the Maroondah Highway to Healesville, continue on the Maroondah Highway through to Buxton, and about 3 ½ kilometres further past the Buxton township you will come to South Cathedral Lane on your right hand side (it is the first right after the Cerberus Creek). We are about 500 metres up South Cathedral Lane on the left. Follow our driveway over the bridge and follow the sign in front of you.
If you are coming from the north travel down the Maroondah Highway from Alexandra, continue past Taggerty about 8 kilometres and South Cathedral Lane will be on your left. We are also marked on Google Maps – search for ‘Country B&B Cottages at South Cathedral Farm’.
What time is check in?
Check in is any time after 3 pm – let us know roughly what time you think you will arrive and we will have your cottage all ready for you then.
What time is check out?
So that you can continue to relax on the morning of your departure, check out is a leisurely 11 am. And if there is no one booked in to come into your cottage on the same day as you leave, you are welcome to stay until 12 pm.
Can I get a meal provided?
We now provide delicious gourmet local produce hampers as an in-house meal option – order yours with us when you book your stay!
Do you include breakfast provisions?

Yes – we stock your kitchen each day with freshly-baked bread, locally smoked bacon, fresh eggs from our own chooks, cereals, spreads, juices, tea and freshly ground locally roasted coffee.

Can I cook my own food?

Yes – your cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen, including an oven.

Do you have local wines available for sale?
Yes – we have a selection of 20 different local wines for you to choose from, many of which are grown within a 10 kilometre radius of your cottage!
Do you have a dog-proof fence?
Yes – each cottage has its own small fenced back yard, and in 2017 we installed our fabulous new acre-and-a-half ‘dog park’ around the two cottages, so unless your four-legged friend is a high jump champion, we can now offer our four-legged guests an extra level of security, if they aren’t so good at recall.
Can I get a massage in my cottage?

Yes – we have a mobile masseur we can book for you (subject to availability).

Do I need to take my pets with me whenever I go out?
Unless crated, pets can’t be left unattended, so you will need to take them when you go out, or we can help you arrange a pet-sitter (subject to availability).
Are pets allowed inside the cottage?

Yes – dogs and cats are welcome inside your cottage.  Please don’t allow dogs on the bed or the furniture though.

Can you accommodate children?

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children of any age because the design and location of our cottages are unsuitable and inappropriate for occupation by children of any age.
